Gerber is currently dating Butler. The pair were spotted together in December 2021, a few months after he wrapped filming on “Elvis.” Gerber mostly sat out of attending award show ceremonies with Butler during award season, though they did appear together at the Vanity Fair Oscars party. In April, they attended the Time100 Gala together.
Despite their fame, both of them have stayed pretty private about their romance. When GQ asked Butler about their relationship in 2022, he said, “I don’t think there’s anything I want to share about that but thank you for providing the space.”
Gerber’s mom Crawford opened up about why her daughter tries to balance keeping her relationship on the private side with still living her life in a May 15 interview with People. “I think that she kind of sees how my husband [Rande Gerber] and I have dealt with it throughout the years,” Crawdford said. “Which is not like, we don’t ever try to, ‘Oh, we can’t go there because we might get photographed.'” She added, “She seems like she has a very good head on her shoulders and is figuring out how she wants to create that private work-public balance.”
